Stop comparing yourself to fitness models. Why? Because they are fitness models. That is their job. We often to do this to seek "motivation" and too many of us confuse motivation with feeling so shitty about ourselves that we finally decide to do something about it. This is desperation, not motivation.
So, the questions is: where do you find motivation? Well, you don't. You shouldn't be searching for motivation but creating it. Find out what makes you feel good and hold on to that. Hold on f#@%ing tight. Intrinsic motivation can be described as being inspired by your internal desire to do something for your own sake. That's right, your internal desires. So, if your strongest desire is to be a fitness model one day, let that be your motivation not Becky with the good butt.
Why will being intrinsically motivated be more beneficial than comparing yourself to others? Because the only person that you should be competing with, is yourself. More often than not, you will not see the same results as Becky with the good butt and that's not only disappointing, but discouraging. Being discouraged is why so many of us quit and give up on the process. That is where delayed gratification comes in.
